Welcome to our blog! Please join us as we try to find a family for sweet little Jamison. Jamison is in Eastern Europe, and was born with down syndrome. He lives in an orphanage with tons of children in need. And is "running out of time...."

About Us

                                                                          About us

Genesis came across Sarah's blog "Handiwork for Elijah" where Sarah was selling crocheting  and sewn items as a fundraiser to bring her little brother, Elijah home from Eastern Europe. Genesis left Sarah a comment and we both have been emailing ever since. When Elijah got a full grant, Sarah decided to change "Handiwork for Elijah" to "Handiwork for Anastasiya". Anastasiya is in the same orphanage as Elijah. Even before Sarah decided to change it, Genesis was thinking about advocating for Anastasiya too. That's where this blog came from :) But now, Anastasiya (now Carrington) has found her "forever family" so we are advocating for Jamison now :-)

                                                                       About Genesis

My name is Genesis, I'm 11 years old and I have a big heart for outreach, adoption/orphans. I am also the oldest child in our family 7. I have 4 brothers, 2 of which have down syndrome and were adopted in June of 2011 from Ukraine. I just love orphans and children and I get a real enjoyment out of helping others. I recently discovered Jamison on Reece's Rainbow and saw that he was in need of help, quickly. As a ton of other beautiful angels are on RR. But Jamison has been in "danger" for a while, so I have felt the call to advocate for him. Through this blog, I hope to find a forever family lil' J :)

                                                                        About Sarah

My name is Sarah, I'm twelve years old, and I love to sew and crochet. I have been crocheting for 2 years and I have been sewing for 7 years. I am also a beginning knitter. I have started my own crocheting/sewing business called For His Glory Handiwork. I love crocheting items (baby hats, slippers, blankets, etc.) for charity. I also am in a 4-H club, and I make lots of things to show at fair. I also have a heart for missions and orphans, and one day hope to be a full time missionary to wherever God calls me. My family has also just adopted 2 little boys from Ukraine (Elijah-home in 2010 and Jonathon-home in 2011), and they are now home and doing great!
